I like to think I’m a pro at online shopping. My friends always know I buy 95% of my stuff from online purveyors. I hate paying full price and with promo and discount codes all over the internet, getting a deal on that new blouse or lipstick is easier than ever. Check out my secrets now.
1. Google for promo codes.
Sites like Coupon Cabin and Retail Me Not to find discount codes or GWPs (gifts with purchases). Sites like Banana Republic are constantly having 30% off sales, get a code for a deluxe sample of a lipstick from Sephora or free shipping from Victoria’s Secret.
2. Do your online shopping Wednesday and on.
Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are the most popular days for retailers to roll out sales and discount codes.
3. Get discounts directly.
You know those annoying little dialogue windows that pop up asking if they can assist you? Don’t close them! Say hello and ask if they have any promo codes. A lot of the time they have deals that you may not find anywhere else.
4. Save time by streamlining your search.
On clothing websites, search by your size. This also reduces that heartbreak of seeing something adorable only to click on it and see it’s not available in your size.
5. Many sites offer free shipping both ways.
This is a must if you are buying clothes that you cannot try on. Plus, then you can order two sizes and return the one that doesn’t fit.
Save money AND time!
