Christopher Lee surprised his fans by recording some more heavy metal music. However, this time he out did himself by performing two Christmas carols,  “A Little Drummer Boy” and “Silent Night,” right in time for the holidays!

It is far from the traditional music one would play on Christmas Eve, but Lee provides variety to the special holiday cheer. He made versions of the two songs back in 2012, however, some would argue these are far superior.

Sir Lee has released multiple metal tracks that earned him the Metal Hammer’s Spirit of Metal award in 2010.

Lee told BlabberMouth that:

“At my age, the most important thing for me is to keep active by doing things that I truly enjoy. I do not know how long I am going to be around, so every day is a celebration and I want to share it with my fans.”

All of Lee’s music, including the two newest Christmas tracks, are available via Amazon, iTunes and Google Play.
