Archaeologists in India claim they have discovered 10,000-year-old rock paintings that appear to be of aliens and UFOs in a cave in Chhattisgarh.

The Chhattisgarh state department is looking to the Indian Space Research Organization, and possibly NASA, to examine and study the rare, prehistoric alien paintings.

The Times of India reported yesterday that the paintings had been discovered by archaeologists in the remote, tribal villages of the Bastar region named Chandeli and Gotitola. Archaeologist JR Bhagat said:

“The findings suggest that humans in prehistoric times may have seen or imagined beings from other planets which still create curiosity among people and researchers. Extensive research is needed for further findings. Chhattisgarh presently doesn’t have any such expert who could give clarity on the subject…”

Bhagat went on explaining that the villagers have many different beliefs about the figures in the paintings, which their ancestors called the “Rohela People;” some even continue to worship them. The gist of the many of beliefs goes as such: some small sized people would land in the village and take the villagers with them in a round shaped flying object.

Sounds like a plot summary right out of Hollywood, no? Bhagat added:

“The paintings are done in natural colours that have hardly faded despite the years. The strangely carved figures are seen holding weapon-like objects and do not have clear features…the nose and mouth are missing. In few pictures, they are even shown wearing space suits. We can’t refute possibility of imagination by prehistoric men but humans usually fancy such things…”

Other archaeologists will be consulted for further verification. Regardless, if these images are real or fabricated scientists at NASA are certain that contact with extraterrestrial life forms will be made in the future, possibly within the next 20 years.

NASA recently announced the upcoming launch of the Transiting Exoplanet Surveying Satellite (TESS) in 2017, saying that the spacecraft will help determine where alien life could feasibly exist.

Charles Bolden, current Administrator of NASA, explained that while life may only be found on earth within our own galaxy, “it is improbable that in the limitless vastness of the universe we humans stand alone.”

Discovery of life or signs of the existence of life on other planets would be the biggest event in human history.

Take a look at the prehistoric paintings archaeologists recently discovered in India. Proof that life may be out there.
