As the media tides turn it seems that TV’s biggest hits can be found online streaming. Netflix changed the game with the mega successes of Orange Is the New Black and House of Cards and soon after Hulu began to produce and stream their own original series.

In February, during Amazon pilot season, Amazon Studios premiered the pilot episode of its groundbreaking new series Transparent. They recently released the official trailer for the first season of episodes which will be available to stream on September 26th and it looks fantastic!

Arrested Development’s Jeffrey Tambor stars as Moira (formerly Mort), a father who comes out to his family as a trans woman and must navigate through the many opinions and emotions her family has surrounding the news. Moira’s wife is played by Judith Light and her children, played by Gaby Hoffmann, Jay Duplass, and Amy Landecke.

Transparent is created by award winning Writer/Director/Producer Jill Soloway who is best known for her work on Six Feet Under and Grey’s Anatomy.
