Beer Thieves Must Love Miller High Life

If you’re going to steal a big-rig with 44,000 lbs of beer in it, what better selection to heist than a truck carrying the “The Champagne of Beers.”

A trucker named, Van Thomas, recently bought a semi to start his own business and was transporting Miller High Life beer from Texas to Florida. While he was at his last truck stop on South Orange Blossom Trail before getting to his final destination of Pompano Beach, thieves somehow stole his truck and made a getaway.

The truck had 44,000 pounds of beer in it– that’s 9,700 four packs.

However, Thomas received good news when received a call shortly from detectives in Miami saying that they found his truck and most of the cargo in it. The thieves are still being pursued.
