Best Dad Ever Gets Tattoo in Support of Challenged Child

A lot of adults forget how difficult childhood can be. Especially if that child has something that makes them stand out from other kids — they are often subject to questions and teasing. Alistair Campbell of New Zealand has a daughter, Charlotte, who has hearing issues and recently had to get a cochlear implant. Campbell wanted her to feel secure by showing his support so he came up with the awesomest idea. Meet the World’s Awesomest Dad, who got a cochlear implant tattooed on his head, placed exactly where his six-year-old daughter has hers. How sweet is that?

“[I did it for] my love for her, really. Hey, my hair can grow back,” Campbell told the New Zealand Herald. When asked if the tattoo was painful, he said he felt “a little bit of pain but nothing I couldn’t handle.” What did Charlotte think? When she saw it she giggled, touched it and said that it was “cool.” Campbell has no other tattoos, and plans to grow out his hair again. He will shave it on special occasions or whenever little Charlotte asks him to. Aw! Bless!
