After being found face-down in the bathtub over the weekend, Bobbi Kristina Brown (21), only daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has spent the week in a medically-induced coma in various hospitals.

The situation is truly a tragedy for the family and the music world, coming only a week before the third anniversary of her mother’s death on February 11, 2012. Whitney was also found submerged in the bathtub, her cause of death later being accredited to accidental drowning. The eerie similarities between Bobbi Kristina and her mother are perhaps just as tragic as the myriad rumors that have stagnated and multiplied since the announcement of Brown’s hospitalization.

Throughout the week, stories of family feuds and imminent death have been reported amidst statements from father Bobby Brown that his daughter’s situation has not changed. Bobby Brown turned 46 yesterday (Feb. 5), though his birthday was surely a somber one.

Regardless of the rumors flying about physical fights between family members, Bobby Brown strictly relying on faith and not medicine to save his daughter, and whether or not Bobbi Kristina remains on life support, Bobby Brown released a statement late yesterday saying,

“If we issued a statement every time the media published a false report regarding this matter, that’s all we would be doing 24 hours a day. This is false, just as is the vast majority of the other reporting that is currently taking place.”

Instead of spreading rumors and speculating on what is and what may be happening inside of Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA, we’d like to keep in mind that it’s not too late for a miracle to happen, and that the most important thing we can do at this time is keep Bobbi Kristina, her father, her family, and the memory of her mother in mind during this trying time.

During the ongoing fight for Bobbi Kristina Brown’s life, all we can say is #PrayforBK
