Britney Spears has certainly taken us on one crazy pop-culture roller coaster with her career. But just when you thought she was down for the count, she would rise from the ashes, like a gyrating phoenix always ready to ‘give you more.’

Now, as a 33-year-old adult, mother of two and successful Las Vegas headliner, Britney has seemed to settle into a relaxed stardom that doesn’t require so many ups and downs to keep us intrigued. After all, Britney Spears has paid her dues.

In a recent interview with People, Britney opens up about her new life in Las Vegas. “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been,” she shares – but it’s no wonder why. Her longterm stay at Planet Hollywood has been a gargantuan hit – grossing almost $50 million in ticket sales since its opening, things are going strong with her producer boyfriend, Charlie Ebersol, but most of all, Britney Spears has found her biggest passion – being a mother.

“My kids come first in my life, bottom line,” Britney claims about her sons, 9-year-old Jean Preston and 8-year-old Jayden James.

The Vegas show was all a part of Britney’s plan to bring a little normalcy to her typically hectic life, and now she’s able to cook her kids dinner and help them with (up to three hours of) homework each night. Father Kevin Federline does share in the responsibilities, and, allegedly, boyfriend Ebersol and the kids get along swimmingly. “They related to him really well, and they have fun together.”

With life on track, and more to look forward to – including an upcoming collaboration with Iggy Azaelea – it seems like Britney’s been pretty ‘Lucky’ lately. Check out some pictures of the happy crew from Britney’s Instagram
