Legendary radio personality Casey Kasem passed away yesterday (Jun. 15) under a doctor’s care in a Washington state hospital. The popular radio disc jockey had been hospitalized for two weeks. Kasem had been suffering from Lewy body disease, the most common type of progressive dementia after Alzheimer’s. His death ultimately resulted from a sepsis caused by an ulcerated bedsore. He was 82.

The New York Times has an outstanding article that profiles the American Top 40 creator.

I thought it’d be nice to feature two videos. One informative and one humorous.

CBS put together a great highlight reel of Kasem and his contribution to pop culture. Watch now.

And who doesn’t love hearing the f-bomb being dropped left and right in a blooper reel. It’s pretty funny.
