Celine Dion is such an inspiration, a fighter and the pillar for her family. We can learn a lot from the angelic Canadian voice.
The singer released a statement on Wednesday saying that she will return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Aug. 27, 2015, to continue her residency in Las Vegas. We will be able to hear her amazing voice, a gift from God, live again for after more than a year without performing.
Songs like “My Heart Will Go On,” “Because you Loved Me,” “It’s all Coming Back to Me Now” and “The Power of Love” will be serenaded to her audiences during 40 performances. Tickets for her show goes on sale March 28, so don’t miss this great opportunity. Her lyrics are emotional and touch her fan’s hearts deeply, which is why she is a five-time Grammy Award winner.
In August 2014, Celine revealed to her fans that she was leaving her residency and canceling her tour in Asia because of her husband René Angélil’s health problems. René was Celine’s manager until last June when he resigned because of his 15-year battle with throat cancer.
The lovebirds have been married since 1994 after meeting 14 years prior. They are such a strong couple that remains together. Celine took a year off to take care of her husband during his treatments. They have three sons together, René-Charles, 14, and fraternal twins Eddy and Nelson, both 4. It’s been very hard for everyone but they have stayed strong as a family.
“I am excited to finally tell my fans I am coming back to Caesars Palace. It was René’s wish that I come back,” Dion released in a statement Wednesday (Mar. 25).
“While my family will always be my priority, my fans are just as important to me. I look forward to performing again for all of you starting Aug. 27, and more importantly having René there with me. Thank you for giving me this time I needed to spend with my family.”
René Angélil is incapable of speaking due to his throat surgery and he has a hard time hearing because of radiation treatments, but he “will be in the audience” on opening night, Dion guarantees her fans. “He wants me to sing again, and I want to do this with him,” said the singer.
Celine Dion broke down in tears while opening up about her husband battle with throat cancer to ABC News reporter Deborah Roberts today on Good Morning America.
“He can’t use his mouth. He can’t eat, so I feed him. He’s got a feeding tube. I have to feed him three times a day,” said the singer. That is love to it’s purest level – dedication and commitment. Celine Dion is a person to look up to, and an inspiration for everyone.
It’s not been an easy year for Celine, but you’ll be excited to hear about her triumphant return.
