Courteney Cox recently was on the Ellen Degeneres show where she told viewers that her daughter Coco was going to be a big sister.

Cox was on the show to promote the new season of her show “Cougar Town” and let it slip, oops, that her ex David Arquette and his girlfriend Christina McLarty were having a baby boy.

Arquette and Cox were together for 14 years and everyone watched their struggles with fertility  to have their daughter Coco, now age nine.

According to the New York Daily News gossip, Coco is thrilled that she is going to be a big sister, but we aren’t so sure how thrilled Cox is.  She said she’s happy about it, but let slip the gender of the couple’s baby on national television.  After years of struggling to have a baby with Arquette, it’s hard to believe Cox is as thrilled as she claims.

Cox and Arquette’s divorce was final in May 2013, 2 1/2 years after the couple broke up.

The couple vowed since they broke up in October 2010 that they would always stay friends and work hard to raise their daughter Coco together.  We’re wondering why it took so long for the couple to get divorced after they separated and if McLarty played a part in the lack of reconciliation.

Christina McLarty, Arquette’s on again, off again flame over the past two years, is a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight.

Prior to Arquette, McLarty “married” Joe Francis in a domestic partnership ceremony in November 2010 in Mexico.  Joe Francis is the founder of Girls Gone Wild.

By 2011, McLarty was already dating Arquette and is acting like a true Hollywood star changing partners with ease.

E News writes that McLarty loves her job and is always snapping pictures of those she interviews.  Recent pictures with Miley Cyrus, Tyra Banks and Sara Michelle Gellar have been flaunted by McLarty.

The couple does not live together.  Arquette has a home in LA and McLarty is in New York City for work.  When asked how they make it work, McLarty stated that they have a rule of “no more than two weeks apart”.  This seems to work great for the couple and they have a quiet, relaxed relationship.  This could be a big problem once the baby is born.  You can’t exactly change diapers from LA if your baby is in NYC.
