This Crow’s Just Doing Crow Things

Well now you’ve seen everything.

Bird photographer Phoo Chan caught this once-in-a-lifetime photo op of a crow landing on the back of a bald eagle, while in mid flight. It kind of reminds me of this…

So did this guy just watch too much LOTR, or what?

Chan writes about the pictures, “Crows are known for aggressively harassing other raptors that are much bigger in size when spotted in their territories and usually these ‘intruders’ simply retreat without much fuss. However, in this frame the crow did not seem to harass the bald eagle at such close proximity and neither did the bald eagle seem to mind the crow’s presence invading its personal space. What made it even more bizarre was that the crow even made a brief stop on the back of the eagle as if it was taking a free scenic ride and the eagle simply obliged.”

But what does it MEAN? Is it a bad omen? Does the symbolism of the crow (all things bad) landing on the back of a bald eagle (America, f*ck yeah!) mean that gay marriage is already destroying the good ol’ U.S. of A.? Probably not. Actually, no not at all.

Share this amazing animal photo with your friends, and then check out this raccoon riding an alligator!

Well there’s something you don’t see every day…
