Cyndi Lauper was among those who were honored at the 12th Annual Women Who Care Luncheon. The event benefitted United Cerebral Palsy of New York City at Cipriani. PressRoomVIP had the privilege to be present at the luncheon.

“To honor people who are doing such good work, [making] this world better…it is important to honor them, to congratulate them, to call attention to their good work,” says actress Susan Lucci. Graciously accepting the honor at the luncheon Lauper made a profound statement, “you change the world when you change your mind.”

These two statements, from Lucci and Lauper, echo the sentiment and energy of the luncheon. Loren Arbus, Founder & Chair of Women Who Care, said that the organization “continues its tradition of honoring female role models who inspire women around the world to achieve their full potential.”
