Last Friday, Olympic champion and Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality star Bruce Jenner boldly came out to the world. “For all intents and purposes, I’m a woman,” he stated during his hotly-anticipated 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer.
Jenner asserted that he’s felt this way ever since he was a child. “My heart and my soul and everything that I do in life, it is part of me, that female side is part of me, that is who I am,” even though “I was not genetically born that way.”
For the first time ever, the nation (and the world) are watching as one of their icons publicly moves through the process of transitioning genders – and now they’re finally responding. It’s been overwhelmingly positive and supportive. From public posts from his family to tweets from other celebrities such as Laverne Cox and Lady Gaga, support for Jenner’s transition is ongoing.
Sending lots of love and support to #BruceJenner and their family tonight. It is always brave to stand in one's truth. Congrats darling.

One special radio station even sparked a social media trend called #PaintYourNailsForBruce.
The idea is simple and was started on the Kyle and Jackie O show on Sidney’s KIIS 106.5 after they decided they wanted to show Australia’s support for Jenner.
Now men, women and children everywhere are posting pics to their social media accounts with their nails done-up, all in the name of Bruce.
Some are pretty spectacular…
Others are going with a more basic look!
But everyone’s happy to show their support.
Men, women and children are painting their nails to show their support for Bruce. Will you be getting a manicure any time soon?
