Prisons are designed with one goal in mind: keep the inmates in. If the prisoners are able to escape, what’s the point of the prison? Nowadays it’s extremely rare to read about a successful prison escape, but back in the day, there were some pretty impressive strategic escapes from some of the most secure prisons at the time. Sometimes they were done by no-name prisoners, other times it was some of the most wanted men in history. Regardless, it’s always impressive.
