Hip-Hop has lost a visionary

Worldstarhiphop founder, Lee O’Denat, known as Q, has died. Worldstarhiphop is one of hip-hop’s most successful media outlets. Q’s genius changed the way hip-hop was represented in the media. He and his wife, Brianna Padilla, founded WSHH in 2005 as a site for mixtapes.

Over time, it grew into the platform that focuses on hip-hop beef, fight clips, and other crazy camera footage. Q once told Vibe that Worldstarhiphop was the “CNN of the ghetto.” And with an average of 1.1 million unique visitors a day, he was right. Though it’s hard to deal with, we have details surrounding his death.
