Once a cheater, always a cheater
Have you ever cheated?
Many of us tell ourselves we would never do such a terrible thing to someone we love, but at the end of the day, we’re only human. As the song goes, “Even the best fall down sometimes,” and there are always a multitude of issues leading one partner in the relationship to cheat.
Though newer statistics show that both male and female partners are equally likely to cheat, or that the opportunity presents itself more often for women, most of us still probably have it in our heads that if one partner is cheating, it’s going to be the man. They’re just wired that way, but is it really their fault?
The short answer is yes. Some men are just selfish a-holes who only think about themselves, and most of the time, they’re using their *other* head to think. But sometimes a guy might find himself in a desperate situation with no other hope of escape. Other times, it’s just a mistake, whether drunk or sober. And don’t forget that a man who cheats is probably not entirely satisfied in his relationship to begin with.
But that doesn’t mean you should be pissed off any less.
Men who never thought they’d cheat—until it was too late—explain what drove them to it, and this might open your eyes about your own relationship!
Is it too late now to say ‘sorry’?
