Hilariously Bad Phil Simms Quotes

It's honestly not surprising he was "demoted"

Phil Simms is one of the greatest players in New York Giants’ history. Winner of two Super Bowls, the MVP of one of them, Simms was a two-time Pro Bowler, and an All-Pro, as well as the NFL’s MVP in 1986. His playing career was undoubtedly fantastic.

Since his retirement in 1994, Simms has been a sports commentator, and served as the color analyst for CBS’ marquee weekly AFC matchup alongside the venerated Jim Nantz since 2004… until last month when he was booted from the program. While Nantz’ play-by-play skills and gravitas are legendary, helping immerse viewers in the action of the game, Simms’ analysis usually took away from it all because of it’s shear absurdity.

Honestly, reading these quotes makes the reasons for his “demotion” perfectly clear.
