Scott Bolzan has no memory of his own life. The 55-year-old from Chicago has lived quite an interesting life, and it’s definitely one to remember. Bolzan is both founder and CEO of a jet management company called Legendary Jets in Temple, Arizona. He played football in both the NFL and USFL and now is a motivational speaker and author.
When Bolzan was 46 years old, everything went blank.
Back in 2010, Bolzan was going through his morning routine at Legendary jets when everything went wrong. On his way to get some morning coffee he made a stop in the restroom and slipped on what is thought to be a puddle of cleaning oil.
“I remember my feet going above my head,” he said. “That’s the last actual memory that I can recall.”
After that, he woke up in the hospital. He said that when he woke up he saw a beautiful woman standing over him
“I didn’t know who anybody was compared to a hospital employee, all I knew is that she was different,” he said about his wife of over 25 years.
“She came up to me and gave me a hug and a kiss, but I had no idea who this person was.”
Suffering from amnesia can be quite the story. It’s incredible to get inside the head of someone who doesn’t remember their own life, and that’s what Scott Bolzan gives us.
