'We love you Jacob and we'll never stop searching for you!'
Jacob Wetterling may have disappeared 26 years ago when he was abducted from his hometown St. Joselph, Minnesota, but his family still keeps a space for him in their hearts and at their table on his birthday.
The whole town was shocked when the the 11-year-old was a abducted by a masked gunman, but his parents Patty and Jerry have never given up an ounce of hope for Jacob’s return. The married couple still believes their son will come home to them some day, and Patty, who’s served on the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s board of directors for three years, even wrote an emotional letter to her son in celebration of his 38th birthday.
