"RIP King Fidel Castro" - Nas

On Friday, November 25, Fidel Castro died. The former Prime Minister of Cuba was 90 years old and passed just 9 months after his older brother, Ramón, died at the age of 91. Castro’s death was announced via television in Cuba and soon spilled onto news stations throughout the world.

The reactions to his death were interesting. Some people, many Cubans and left-leaning Americans, praised him for being a hero who stood up to government officials, while some Cuban Americans celebrated his death and criticized him for being a dictator that oppressed his own people.

Rapper Nas was on the supporting team. He took to social media to express his views on the revolutionary. Both fans and non-fans weighed in on what Nas had to say.
