I thought we were probing Jupiter...

Fake accounts on social media sites are annoying. Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook are filled with them. Some of them are there to increase your follower numbers and some only exist to try and plague your account with a virus. Twitter has a long history of hacks, and most are targeted at celebrity accounts. Earlier this year, a hacker sent out a fake death notice on Jack Black’s Tenacious D Twitter account. Other celebrities like Katy Perry and Mark Zuckerberg have also been exploited.

An important lesson to remember is to change your password every two months and to not use the same password for multiple accounts. Otherwise you might get hacked just like NASA Keplar’s account.
