Taylor has a lot on her plate right now

Taylor Swift is just another citizen of Nashville, Tennessee according to the court system, so she was called into jury duty to potentially be picked to determine the fate of a man accused of some serious crimes. She had no problem showing up and being interviewed because it’s her civil duty, but she was not chosen as a juror. It’s not because of her celebrity status; Taylor Swift is dealing with her own charges right now in another state involving a possible sex-related crime.
