Christian or not, you have to admit that The Salvation Army does good around the world. And one of the ways they raise money year round is with their thrift stores. Millions of generous people donate their unwanted clothes so various locations around the globe can resell them to less fortunate people on a budget. With the money, they provide “food, shelter, and warmth.” But they really kick it up a notch around the holidays, collecting money from Christmas shoppers.
