Most people who study Bigfoot’s existence point to the abundance of witnesses as one of the biggest factors in the creature being real. Over the course of time, there have been hundreds and hundreds of different reported sightings of Bigfoot. The logic here is that there are way too many eyewitnesses for the phenomenon to be imaginary, as there have been tons of people from different cultures and places around the world reporting the same type of creature.
The mystery of the Sasquatch sightings took a huge change in the 1960’s when Dr. Grover Krantz of Washington State University started examining cats and different photos of footprints from different parts of the state. One of the sets of casts showed some features of an injured foot that was made by an upright-walking primate. This was seen as some of the biggest proof ever.
The Patterson-Gimlin film is considered to be one of the strongest pieces of evidence that ever existed for Bigfoot. The two men involved were Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin back in 1967. The two were trying to make a documentary about the Bigfoot mystery after hearing about a number of sightings and tracks around the Bluff Creek area in northern California. What they found was pretty surprising.
