Always the topic of discussion

In my opinion, Kanye West is a genius, and not just in the studio. In 2013, the self-described college dropout delivered an impromptu speech at the Harvard Graduate School of Design to talk about architecture, fashion, and creativity. “I really do believe that the world can be saved through design, and everything needs to actually be ‘architected.’ I believe that utopia is actually possible, but we’re led by the least noble, the least dignified, the least tasteful, the dumbest, and the most political,” he told the students.

In 2014, he spoke to students at the L.A. Trade Technical College as part of his court-ordered community service which he received after assaulting a photographer. Kanye isn’t teaching these days but there has been a class designed to teach students all things Kanye. The class is being taught by “a Chicago native, teaching about a Chicago artist who grew up in the same time and the same neighborhood, with a catalogue worth teaching,” according the professor’s Twitter account.
