“Je Suis Charlie” are the words of the night.

Following today’s march of millions in Paris – a beautiful movement in response to this week’s tragic events at the Charlie Hebdo publication – Hollywood is showing its solidarity.

From the pin on Amal Clooney’s bag and George’s tux, to Hollywood Foreign Press Association President Theo Kingma’s speech, to the award presentation by Jared Leto– film and television’s stars are expressing their heartfelt empathy.

In the words of Theo Kingma, “Together we will stand united against anyone who will repress free speech, anywhere, from North Korea to Paris.”

It’s truly meaningful to see such important cultural icons use their influence to talk about what is truly important tonight: solidarity among the artists of the world.
