Denise Rich, President and Co-Founder of Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation, greeted press and guests at the event and said, “Hopefully we can expect that we are going to raise a lot of money for cancer research. And that’s what it’s all about, in memory of my daughter Gabrielle who passed at the age of 27.” She continued to express excitement for the evening and what it would hold.

Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation funds America’s best junior scientific research in the fields of leukemia, lymphoma, and related cancers. For every dollar raised eighty-five cents goes directly to these ground-breaking initiatives to support their research. Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation has risen over $23 million for cancer research. The foundation also maintains its status as one of the largest sources of grant support for blood cancer research in the US.
