Looks like some security guard was drinking too many vesper martinis! Irony was at its best this week when it was announced that 9 luxury vehicles meant for the upcoming James Bond film Spectre were stolen from a garage in Dusseldorf, Germany.
The cars, which had been customized for the film, are valued at just under $1 million. At least 5 of the stolen cars were Range Rover sports models, similar to the one seen above. German police apparently have no leads on the situation.
Bond fans let out a huge sigh of relief when it was clarified that the spy’s most iconic vehicle – an Aston Martin DB10 – was not stolen in the heist.
The theft may now delay filming for Spectre, which is set to hit theaters in October 2015.
