John Stamos Confirms Return of ‘Full House’ & the World Rejoices
You got it dudes!
Last night, John Stamos shared some glorious news that folks have been waiting to hear since 1995 – your favorite sitcom ever, Full House, is officially returning to television.
After months of rumors and everyone’s full-fledged support on social media, Stamos has confirmed that he believes there will be a reunion episode, which will then result in a 13-episode spin-off series, appropriately called Fuller House. Netflix will be producing the epic reboot.
“It starts sort of as a reunion and then spins off, like a spin-off,” says Stamos. “And so you have Candace [Cameron Bure] and Jodie [Sweetin] and Andrea Barber, Kimmy Gibler, and Candace has three boys and its sort of a reversal and we turn the house over to her.”
We’re still not sure whether Bob Saget will reprise his role as Danny Tanner or if the Olsen twins will take a break from their high profile celebrity lifestyles to return to a life of picnic blankets and driving over the Golden Gate Bridge, but we’re smiling ear to ear nonetheless, everywhere we look.
