19 year old pop star Justin Bieber was arrested in Miami Beach this morning at 4am and charged with drunk driving, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license.

Justin was initially pulled over when a Miami Beach officer saw the singer speed racing his yellow Lamborghini against a red Ferrari in a residential neighborhood. According to Police Chief Raymond Martinez Justin was confrontational with the officer who pulled him over and reeked of alcohol. Bieber was then administered a sobriety test and failed.

At a news conference held earlier this morning officials said that “[Justin] made statements he had consumed some alcohol, been smoking marijuana and consumed some prescription medication.”

Bieber & company positioned two SUVs at 26th and Pine St., blocking off traffic so that the teen idol and friends could have their own makeshift racetrack.

The red Ferrari driving Bieber “associate”, who is suspect to be well-known rapper Khalil, was also arrested and charged with drunk driving.

This is Justin Bieber’s first arrest following a string of reported recent defiant behavior, including the “egging” of a Los Angeles neighbor’s home in which the star is currently under investigation for.

Here’s hoping that this arrest will serve as a wake up call to the multi-talented and influential singer. While his recent spotlight shenanigans point toward the destiny of “fallen star” status, we are routing for him to make the changes necessary in order for his star to continue to burn bright for years to come.
