Justin Bieber’s Tears Were Totally Authentic, and Here’s Why
If you watched this year’s epic MTV VMA’s you know that one of the evening’s greatest moments was watching Justin Bieber keel over and take a good cry for a few moments onstage after the performance. Since then everyone’s been speculating as to what brought the Biebs such a strong emotion that he deemed it necessary to shed tears in front of the entire nation. Was it a PR move? Was he so overwhelmed by his newfound success on the airwaves this summer? Did he stub his toe really, really badly?
Last night on Jimmy Fallon Justin Bieber finally came forward with what brought him to that raw emotional state (that even left Miley Cyrus speechless.) Apparently his “authentic” tears were due to the fact that he messed up a couple moves during his performance. Though I’m not sure anyone noticed since he was suspended in the air. But that’s not all.
Bieber also mentioned that during the last awards ceremony he attended, he was almost completely booed off the stage, so to received such positive feedback during this year’s VMAs was emotionally overwhelming. “It was just so overwhelming for me,” the “Where Are Ü Now” singer explained. “Everything, the performance, I missed some cues so I was a little disappointed with that,” he added.
But that’s not the only reason he’s emotional.
