Kate Middleton Disappoints at Children’s Hospital

New York City weather was fairly frozen yesterday, no thanks to Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

When children at the Northside Center for Child Development in Harlem were told that a princess was coming to visit them this month, they naturally expected to meet either Anna or Elsa from Disney’s Frozen, not some pregnant woman with a strange accent.

But while initial impressions may have been a let down, the children, who experience developmental problems, soon took to Kate, who sat and joined them at arts and crafts. The Duchess later spent time helping women from Harlem wrap Christmas presents for the poor and needy. You can read about what else she and hubby Prince William have been up to here.

She might be living a fairy tale, but even being the future queen consort of England isn’t as cool as being an animated witch princess, at least according to kids.

Still, this adorable mixup isn’t as embarrassing as some other moments from Kate’s previous world tours.
