Teenagers have added to new practice to their list of detrimental acts they’re willing to commit in the name of beauty and social media – a new trend sweeping the nation, across your iPhone screen, called the #KylieJennerChallenge.
17-year-old Kylie Jenner has quickly become one of the most popular icons on the net for teenage girls. Not only is she a descendant of pop-culture royalty, the Kardashian family, but she boasts big pouty lips, a tiny waist, and a (newly?) curvaceous rump.
So what’s the challenge?
In an attempt to score some surgery-free plumped-up Kylie Jenner lips, girls everywhere have begun practicing their own procedure. It’s simple – stick your lips inside a plastic bottles or a glass, create a vacuum by inhaling, and allow your your lips to be painfully pulled upon by the laws of physics until they’ve literally been bruised and inflamed, and in some cases severed. True beauty, hurts right? It’s almost like returning to the Victorian period when women would stick their fingers and cover themselves in their own blood for blush.
At its “best” the #KylieJennerChallenge looks something like this…

Bet then they just go downhill from there.

And some kids have unfortunately even ended up in the hospital due to participating in the challenge.

Hopefully this trend will die down as quickly as it plumped up. We’re also not sure why Kylie hasn’t yet told them all to STOP.
We only worry about what’s going to happen when teenagers start trying to mimic Kylie’s big booty…
Pool filters are off limits!
These lips are TERRIFYING. Find out how the #KylieJennerChallenge is putting teens in the hospital. Why are girls doing this to themselves?
