The 1954 Les Paul guitar known as “Black Beauty” is going on auction, and it should fetch for a fair amount.
The famous model of the Gibson Les Paul Guitar is being auctioned off in New York City on February 19th.
Musician Les Paul, known for such hits as “How High the Moon,” played the gold-plated guitar for more than two decades.
The piece of historic hardware was given to Tom Doyle a guitar technician and builder.
Paul died in 2009.
