Once Hollywood’s new “it” girl, you can’t help but think that maybe Lindsay Lohan (b. July 2, 1986) never really reached her potential. Lohan first started working in the industry as a model for Ford when she was only three years old. Her work progressed as a child actress, and she had major success in the revamp of the The Parent Trap and Freaky Friday with Jamie Lee Curtis. Her biggest triumph came with Tina Fey’s epic comedy Mean Girls, but along with her newfound stardom came excessive amounts of partying. What followed was a celebrity gossip madhouse–several arrests, court dates, and eventually a fair amount of jail time and community service. Fortunately Lohan’s been to rehab–several times now–but her behavior has never stabilized. The actress has recently tried to get back on the big screen, and sat down with Oprah Winfrey to discuss her attempts at sobriety. A reality series focusing on her journey towards sobriety is scheduled to appear on Oprah’s network.
