VH1‘s Love & Hip Hop recently began airing its 4th season. And with a new season comes a new cast member, Saigon. PressRoomVIP was at VH1’s Love & Hip Hop 4 premiere party and got a chance to chat with Saigon.
The reality show’s title says it all. The series follows the talented artists as they climb the mountain of fame and success. Equally, it shines a light on the dynamics between the members of the cast and their relationships. And this season digs deeper into the characters and their stories.
Saigon emphasized that season four is the most authentic season yet. “I think it’s not so more the clownery or the funny faces. It’s more so about real issues that other people can relate to.” Saigon used the analogy of comparing this season as a documentary, and the other seasons as a comedy show.
When asked why he decided to join the series Saigon said, “It feels good to give people another side to my life, a more personal aspect of my life. I’ve always been an artist that shared a lot of my life in my music. So I feel like an opportunity to share more would make people understand me better.”
Saigon has realized great success in the music industry. A veteran of the Hip Hop community, he has collaborated with many other artists and gained a great reputation. His hard work has paid-off with two hit records, a third is expected next year.
