Shabani Has Become Japan’s Latest Heartthrob
Meet Shabani – the Japanese gorilla people are claiming to be the ‘most handsome’ gorilla in the world, so much so that he’s become a huge attraction for young Japanese women attending the Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Nagoya. The zoo has even seen a marketable increase in female visitors since Shabani began gaining so much notoriety.
While Shabani now claims Japan as his home, this guy is actually Australian born-and-raised (of course). He was brought over to the Higashiyama Zoo to mate with three female western lowland gorillas.
The 18-year-old is apparently very used to his celebrity status and has no less than 100 screaming fans clamoring for his attention at any given moment. “Shabani, over here! Look at me Shabani!” But Shabani just stares back at his fans, letting them drink in all his gorilla glory. Do you think Shabani’s reputation is well-earned?
I guess he looks well proportioned – for a gorilla.
And check out those rippling muscles.

But most of all, that taut, furry bum.
Ok, Shabani, you win. You’re the Brad Pitt, Marlon Brando, and Ryan Gosling of gorillas all rolled into one.
Japenese men…look out if your girlfriends are spending too much time at the zoo.
Is this really the Brad Pitt of gorillas?
