The deep ocean landscape is dark and bare, and most of the time with not a whole lot to look at. However, Professional free diver, Guillaume Néry, figured out a way to enjoy the depths of the ocean with nothing more than a wet suit and some goggles. To much surprise, the deep ocean can be powerfully deceptive.

Running underwater may sound bizarre, but it is not. And it looks quite enjoyable in the videos posted by Néry.

Watching Néry shows us that the point of free diving is to stay calm and just relax.

At first glance, the video might seem like it is just a computer generated underwater experience. But eventually, after a close-up, you can witness Néry moving around and testing the strength of the deep sea currents. Free diving near the Tiputa Pass, Néry allowed himself be swept along the ocean floor at a seamlessly fast speed. Underwater cameraman, Julie Gautier, was recording Néry’s bizarrely serene journey at extensive depths.
