The Hobbit’s Final Showing

Warner Bros. Entertainment just released the first teaser trailer for the final film in the Hobbit series, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.

Bilbo will finish his epic journey when the film hits theaters December 17th. There will be an epic battle between Good v. Evil and a final attempt from the dwarves to reclaim the Lonely Mountain from the dragon Smaug.

This will be director Peter Jackson’s final visit to Middle-earth. After his final film wraps up the end for The Hobbit sequel, Jackson will have a total count of 6 films. The Lord of the Rings film series has a box office profit of $2,917,506,956 while The Hobbit film series is closely behind with box office profits of $1,975,370,423, with the third film yet to be released.
