You thought your baby was cute, but how about this baby pygmy hippo baby? The inquisitive little fella will steal your all attention.
A rare, baby pygmy hippo was born on December 26 at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo in Bedfordshire, UK. On January 15, ZSL Whipsnade Zoo posted this video to its Facebook page of the male hippo. The zoo reported he was born on Boxing Day to Flora, a 28-year-old who has been battling cancer. According to the zoo, male pygmy hippo births are extremely rare. Senior Keeper Steve White said, Were delighted for Flora, who has come through a difficult year and is now proving once again to be an attentive, experienced mum. Shes contributed three calves to the European Endangered Species Breeding Programme and shell now retire from breeding.
