Woman Charged for Child Endangerment

It takes a village to raise a child they say, and sometimes it takes a village to keep them safe.
A New Jersey mother faced some major flack from local officers after being accused of leaving her daughter in an extremely hot car while shopping in Costco with her second child. The video below shows several customers crowded around the woman’s van as one of the cops approaches the vehicle to shatter the window to retrieve the crying child on the inside.
The car was estimated by authorities to be above 80 degrees, though it’s unclear how long she was left in the vehicle.
“She’s soaking wet!” one of the sheriffs exclaims after grabbing up the upset girl to comfort her.
The daughter’s mother eventually approaches her van with her other child in tow, and the sheriff is so overcome with emotion for her daughter’s well being that she doesn’t hold back in her reproach.
“Is this your kid? You left her in the car!” the sheriff said.
“Sorry, sorry,” the mother exclaims. Note that at no point does she ask if her daughter is ok.
“No sorry, she could’ve died,” replies the sheriff.
Mother Chaeyoung Lim-Kim was arrested reports Fox News for her mistreatment and charged with child endangerment. The daughter was treated and released to her father’s care.
