When Pharrell Williams’ lead single Happy was released it rose directly to the top of the charts. The song is from his album, G I R L, and still remains in the top 10 in the Hot 100 Songs, according to Billboard. The song is a very catchy tune and is sung by millions around the world by day or night, in the shower or at work. The song brings smiles to the faces of many and I think Pharrell had just that thought in mind when producing it.
The point is to be grateful for what you have and not complain about what you don’t have, because “gratitude is riches. Complaint is poverty.” – Doris Day
Williams does this for his fans through his music and in person. Check out the video below.
Steve Acito produced and directed a video posted below that shows how the Camden community, in New Jersey, gives back with nothing but gratitude and joy. This video was made to inspire others to sing out aloud and give back to their communities, either by coaching a Little League team, teaching ballet, feeding the hungry, building bike trails, or planting the community garden. Just be sure to get out, get involved, and you best be Happy while doing it.
