Queen Guard Playing Game Of Thrones Theme Song

No need to hum the tune under your breathe or sing it in the shower anymore. This Emmy-nominated show is well-liked and is being played out loud by soliders in front of our very own Queen of England. Dressed in their dashing red uniforms, the Queen’s Guard performed the Game of Thrones theme song outside Buckingham Palace. Their presentation was greatly appreciated by many and brought back a distant memory of the epic cliff-hanging ending to the show’s season 4.

Tyrion Lannister, Joffrey Baratheon, Cersei Lannister, Sansa Stark, Daenerys Targaryen, and the rest of the Game of Thrones characters took over our TV sets  every Sunday evening and the Emmy-nominated HBO series brought 7.1 million viewers to their to watch the epic season 4 finale. The Hollywood Reporter states, “Game of Thrones wrapped its most-watched season to date in an expectedly big fashion,” and the show’s viewership is “up 32 percent from Thrones‘ season 3 finale.”

Variety also reported that “The show’s fourth-season premiere in April drew a then series-record 6.635 million same-night viewers for its initial telecast — the largest same-night audience for any HBO program since the finale of “The Sopranos,” which drew 11.9 million in 2007.”
