A dog was abandoned and left alone at a Scottish train station, along with a suitcase of its belongings: a dog bowl, food, a pillow and toy.
The 3-year-old shar-pei named Kai was left tied to a leash at Ayr railway station on Jan. 2.
The Scottish SPCA is looking into the matter and is trying to track down the owner. A microchip was found in Kai, and it shows that the dog was purchased online– leaving the owner to yet be identified.
Inspector Stewart Taylor of the Scottish SPCA says, “Regardless of the fact Kai was left with his belongings, this was still a cruel incident and we are keen to identify the person responsible.”
As you see in the video, Kai is a kind dog. Why the owner doesn’t want him anymore may not ever be answered.
The group is caring for the dog until they can find a new owner.
An owner left his dog intentionally at a train station in Scotland, but why?
