These Movies Are as American as Apple Pie

The Fourth of July is this weekend, and it’s time to celebrate our independence and all that this great country has grown up to be in the last 239 years. It’s hard to think about all the reasons we love America without thinking about Hollywood. A few movies in particular capture the spirit of the ole’ U.S.A. so much that we just had to put together this gallery to share with you all!

Whether it’s an expedition to the far reaches of our galaxy, a few misfit high schoolers with a lot to learn from one another, a superhero with a conscience of steel, or a man who will risk his life to save a fellow countryman, these movies tug at our heartstrings, jab at our funny bones, and remind us what it means to be an American.
