In 1961, President John F. Kennedy challenged Americans to dream big and shoot for the stars…literally. From then on, the NASA’s Apollo Program was born. It’s mission: to land a man on the moon and return him safely to earth before the end of the 1960’s. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin achieved this dream in 1969, and 22 other men followed them before the end of the Apollo program three years later.
