And her response is pretty damn perfect.

Before the world was graced with the beauties Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss, the fashion world was run by six supermodel queens: Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Linda Evangelista, Stephanie Seymour, and Christy Turlington. In the 90s, they were on every runway and every magazine cover there was. Two decades have passed, the rise of social media and omnipresence of technology have changed the fashion industry forever.

Last April, former model Rebecca Romijn, told Entertainment Tonight that she was frustrated that social-media stars are now considered “supermodels” and the trend setters of fashion. Vanity Fair took the opportunity to ask one of the original six, Stephanie Seymour, if she agreed, and she let lose a mouthful. “They are completely different than we were,” she said. “Supermodels are sort of the thing of the past. They deserve their own title. [Kendall and Gigi] are beautiful girls, and I support all of them, but they need their own title.”

And what should that title be exactly? “Bitches of the moment!” Seymour said with a laugh. “That would be a good title for them.”
