Justin Bieber tweeted an emotional tribute to his friend, Thomas Ayad, who was killed in the Paris Attacks.

Ayad, 34, was an International Product Manager for Mercury Records, the French division of Universal Music. He was attending the Eagles of Death concert Metal at the Bataclan Theater when the attacks occurred; He was among the 89 victims killed at the concert. Two more employees of the company were also killed, according to the CEO of Universal Music France who confirmed the deaths via Twitter.

Justin took to his Twitter to pay homage to his friend, while reminding his 69.8 million followers to “make sure you appreciate people while you have them.”
