"I am not at peace."
Kid Cudi is no stranger to depression. And he’s not the only rapper to deal with it. The rapper has publicly admitted to battling depression after the success of his debut album, Man on the Moon: The End of Day. That led to heavy drug usage, but he soon overcame it with the help of family. But recently, it seems as though Cudi has slipped back toward the darkness after tweeting insults at both Kanye West and Drake. Now, he’s going to do something about it. He’s entering rehab.
Depression is a big issue in the industry. An issue so big that not many like to admit dealing with it. And most of the times, it’s too late. Depression can lead to suicide, which take too many in Hollywood. Kudos to Cudi for seeking help.
The rapper admits he’s a damaged person and that he would have “done something” to himself if he didn’t take charge.
